FORMAT CHANGE FOR 2010
The Tournament will undergo a significant format change next
summer. Tentatively, their will only be on open tournament to take place in Galveston over a three day period.
Tentative dates are August 5-7, 2010.
The Tournament will have two divisions - Pro and Amateur.
This will be a complete catch and release tournament with prize money awarded in each division for most fish released.
With enough anticipated entries, prizes for first place in each division will tentatively range from $3k - $5k depending on
number of entries. There will also be prize money for second place in each division as well. There will also be
a trophy for most tagged which will be separate from the prize money.
There will be an invitation only tournament in Port O'Connor
with no prize money involved that will be separate and distinct from the Galveston Tournament.
